Applications for the ACU Summer School 2023 are now being accepted.
This is an incredible opportunity that the Commonwealth has fully funded. The first Summer School will be held in the winter. Applicants will attend Stellenbosch University in South Africa from July 2 to July 10, 2023. The theme of the ACU Summer School is Truth and Reconciliation.

Applicants with a wide range of academic backgrounds are encouraged to apply. There are no IELTS or other language requirements for this Summer School. In addition, there is no application fee for this program.

Financial Benefits
The ACU Summer School will cover the following costs:
- On-campus housing will be provided.
- Transportation throughout the city will be provided.
- Meals are provided on campus.
- Excursions and social activities
- Economy Return Flight Flights to and from South Africa.
The following expenses are not included:
- Visa (please note that some nationalities do not need a visa to enter South Africa) (please note that some nationalities do not need a visa to enter South Africa). You should check with your home country to see if you need a Visa.

Criteria for Eligibility
To apply for the ACU Summer School in South Africa in 2023, you must be:
- Participants from outside of Africa or from within Africa.
- Undergraduate, Master’s, and Ph.D. students.
- ACU Member Country Participants

- Reference Letter from your University on a Letter Head, written by your teacher, professor, or advisor.
- Motivation Letter
